Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia met in Astrakhan
TRAKHAN. September 15. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia Nursultan Nazarbayev and Dmitry Medvedev had a meeting just before the beginning of the plenary session of the VIII interregional cooperation forum of Kazakhstan and Russia.
President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has met Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Astrakhan airport.
During the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev said, the ties between our countries exemplify fruitful cooperation that is significant in the light of the prospects for the Customs Union development.
In his turn, Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the August informal summit let work out common interests on a wide range of international issues. He expects Nursultan Nazarbayev in Moscow at the close of the year for the participation in the next summit of the CSTO.
