President urges Kazakh Government to be more realistic

ASTANA. January 23. KAZINFORM At Wednesday's session of the Cabinet, President Nursultan Nazarbayev urged the ministers and authorities in the regions to be more realistic and get down to business.

"Our goal is to actually improve the lives of people in each city, district, aul and village," Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed.

In his words, not only the Government, but also governors at all levels should bear it in mind.

Besides, first Vice Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev was instructed by President Nazarbayev to sort out the problem of unused budgetary funds in a month's time. These funds were allotted by the Government for the implementation of the state programs.

The Government's meeting is devoted to results of the year 2012 and the implementation of the "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy.
