President to take part in grand opening of 'Khan Shatyry' shopping and entertainment center
ASTANA. June 11. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ On the threshold of the Astana City Day celebration President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in grand opening of the shopping and entertainment center 'Khan Shatyry' on June 5. The press service of the Akimat of Astana informs.
Italian artist of pop and classical music Andrea Boccelli will take part in the grand opening. After the ceremony the President will hold a reception dedicated to the City Day celebration.
'Khan Shatyry' is 150 m high; its area is 1500 square m, it is designed by famous British architect Norman Foster. The project is expected to become a center of entertainment and commerce in Astana. It includes mini golf course, small lake, botanical gardens, beaches, beauty centers, concert halls, offices, five star hotels etc. The Center is one of the largest in Astana. At opening 82 percent of all commercial areas are expected to fully function. The parking on the ground floor is available for 700 cars. Besides, it includes an outside parking.
