President tasked MIA to raise efficiency of its recruitment policy
ASTANA. January 17. KAZINFORM Today within the sitting of the board of the Internal Affairs Ministry, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has given the Ministry several tasks concerning its recruitment policy.
First, as the Head of State considers, the Ministry's work with its candidates' pool over the past five-six years, the process of staff turnover and efficiency of this work must be analysed.
Secondly, the President highlighted the necessity of assessment of the level of training and retraining of the staff. "The law-enforcement system of Kazakhstan becomes more intellectual and richer in technical issues. The system of personnel training and retraining must be thoroughly revised and adjusted", N. Nazarbayev noted.
Thirdly, the Head of State stressed importance of revising the norms of social protection of the law-enforcement system's workers and enhancing responsibility of the heads of the law-enforcement structures for the violation of law by the employees.
"The issues regarding efficiency of recruitment policy in the country's law-enforcement system will be discussed at a sitting of the Security Council this year", the President noted.
