President Tarja Halonen to represent Finland at OSCE Summit
ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev met with his colleagues from Finland and Czech Republic Alexander Stubb and Karel Schwarzenberg in New York; Kazakh MFA's press service told Kazinform.
During the talks with Finnish Foreign Minister the diplomats noted the significance of searching for more consensus components for final documents of the OSCE Summit. Mr. Alexander Stubb noted the importance of steady implementation of the Helsinki Final Act, which served as the founding document for the development of the OSCE. He informed that President of Finland Tarja Halonen would represent her country at the summit in Astana.
The issues regarding the agenda of the summit were also discussed at the meeting with Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg.
