?As is known, in compliance with the state program we should build 100 schools in the coming years. Last year we commissioned 46 schools. In whole, 90 schools will be erected across Kazakhstan in 2009. All these factors show the Government?s special attention to the development of education in the country. We have never built such schools before. You see, there are gyms, laboratories with up-to-date equipment, interactive class rooms. We provide all conditions for good education of our children?, the Head of the State said. Such facilities are constructed countrywide within ?100 schools, 100 hospitals? program. 5 hospitals and 5 kindergartens are expected to open in Almaty. An intellectual school is scheduled to open in the city on Monday. The abovementioned 1200-seat school was built on the basis of the state-private sector partnership. The project started in December 2007 and is to be completed in January 2009. The total cost of the project made up KZT 1,6 mln. The facility occupies an area of 2 ha.
