President surveys landscaped areas of Astana

ANA. June 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ - President Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the green plantings of the sanitary-protective area around Astana. Afterwards the President held a press conference where he pointed out that landscaping of the city is as important as construction of homes and buildings. "Every year we plant about 10 million trees around Astana to protect the city from dust and saturate the air with oxygen», - the President said.
The Head of the State noted that such large landscaping has never done before in the world. «The very philosophy of Astana development is a symbiosis of human and nature»,- the President said.
