President surveys Aktobe pipe plant
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has surveyed the Aktobe steel pipe manufacturing plant, as part of his visit to Aktobe region, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
The plant manufactures 20,000 tons of products per year. The enterprise worth 3.5 billion tenge was commissioned in June of this year.
The President was informed about the plant’s long-term development plans.
The enterprise is set to expand the range of products and increase production capacity.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also visited an exhibition of local producers, showcasing equipment for industrial enterprises, railway sector, medical appliances, pharmaceuticals, protective clothing, household cleaning products, and sanitary wares.
Earlier, the President visited Bolashak mine, Khromtau Mining and Technical College, as well as Khromtau Secondary School No1.
