President: State Scientific Commission to be in charge of science budget

ASTANA. September 4. KAZINFORM /Aygul Tulekbayeva/ - The State Scientific Technical Commission under the Government of Kazakhstan will be evaluating the funds for science and distributing them among priority directions, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the Friday meeting of the Council on Science and Scientific Policy.
"The State Scientific Technical Commission under the Government must be a strategic institution that will be in charge of determining the priority directions of the country's scientific and technical activity, the budget and funds distribution. These new duties of the Commission must be secured by the Science Law", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
