President received Internal Affairs Minister

The Minister reported on the criminal situation in the country, the course of fulfillment of the President?s tasks regarding strengthening the fight against crime, the protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens against criminal attacks. S. Baimaganbetov also informed the President of the measures adopted by the Ministry on raising the people?s trust to the internal affairs bodies. ?I have reported to the President on the course of fight with organized crime and drug-traffic and work on preventing offences. KZT 40 bln are planned to be allotted from the Governmental reserves to counter illegal drug trafficking especially in southern regions of the country and anti-drug propaganda?, S. Baimaganbetov said at a briefing.
