President participated in opening ceremony of maternity hospital in Atyrau
RAU. October 1. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ The Head of the State has visited new social facilities of Atyrau region. Nursultan Nazarbayev has participated in an opening ceremony of the new maternity hospital.
The hospital rated at 100 places was built in new city district Almagul. According to the medical workers the hospital can receive over 3 000 child births per a year.
The hospital has a modern medical equipment answering European standards as computerized equipment for premature newborns, ultrasonic scanning and X-ray examining. The hospital also has individual bed wards for maternity patients including those for mother and child. There is also a canteen on each floor of the hospital.
KZT 2 bln 971 mln was allocated from the national budget for construction of the maternity hospital.
