President of Vietnam to visit Kazakhstan in Sept
HANOI. August 15. KAZINFORM President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang will pay his first official visit to Kazakhstan in September 2012, according to the Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During his Wednesday meeting with Kazakh Ambassador Nurlan Yermekbayev, President Truong Tan Sang said he is "looking forward to his visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. I hope that the mutual visits will give new impetus to development of relations in various fields."
"The existing level of cooperation between our countries is a good gift for the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. I would like to emphasize that Vietnam attaches great importance to cooperation with traditional friends and partners. We have good mutual relations," Truong Tan Sang noted.
The program of the President Sang's visit to Kazakhstan will include a meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev, signing of several bilateral documents, including the adoption of the joint statement.
Astana will host a business forum with participation of representatives of the largest companies of Vietnam, as well as the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Vietnam in Kazakhstan.
