President Nursultan Nazarbayev receives rector of Satpayev Kazakh National Technical University

President noted that the university is facing important challenges in the context of its transformation into a research technical university. Head of State stressed that in the process of implementation of the industrialization program the country will need highly qualified engineering personnel. According to President Nazarbayev, within the years of industrialization there have been constructed more than 700 objects. This year it is planned to launch about 70 enterprises which will need well-trained engineers. Therefore, the country is focusing on the transformation and development of higher education institutions. Zh.Adilov told about the creation of an innovation cluster in the area of resource conservation. He also informed about innovative projects in the areas such as engineering and technology, geological and mining industry. Following the meeting the President set a number of tasks in the field of technical education.
