President Nazarbayev visits METRO Сash and Carry wholesale retailer in Astana

ANA. October 27. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The Kazakh President has surveyed the METRO Сash and Carry wholesale retailer.
"I thank the heads of companies, constructors, who implemented this project in a short period", the Head of the State said.
The center construction started on July 15, 2009 and will receive first business clients on October 29. KZT 3 bln was invested in the center construction, 250 jobs were created within the project implementation. According to the heads of companies, the METRO plans to open 10-15 similar centers in large cities of Kazakhstan.
"Opening the first center in Astana, we begin fruitful cooperation with our clients and partners in Kazakhstan", CEO of METRO Cash and Carry Frans W.H. Muller said.
