President Nazarbayev to meet with Xi Jinping in China
BEIJING. March 27. At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay a state visit to China.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the announcement at a regular press briefing in Beijing.
According to the Chinese diplomat, Nursultan Nazarbayev will attend the upcoming annual Boao Forum for Asia on 6-8 April.
Xi Jinping will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the forum.
Foreign leaders and heads of international organizations, namely Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah; Myanmar President U Thein Sein; Peruvian President Ollanta Humala Tasso; Zambian President Michael Sata; Finnish President Sauli Niinisto; Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto; Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen; New Zealand Prime Minister John Key; Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard; and Vuk Jeremic, president of the United Nations 67th General Assembly session are also expected to attend.
