President Nazarbayev receives Vice Prime Minister Issekeshev
ASTANA. December 12. KAZINFORM Today, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, the president's press service reports.
Minister Issekeshev reported on current activities of the ministry and concept of the five-year plan of the industrial and innovative development program developed on the instruction of the Head of State in conjunction with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
President Nazarbayev noted the first five-year part of the program and the tasks at hand are to be implemented by the end of 2014. The Kazakh leader stressed the second five-year plan will pay utmost attention to innovations and brand new approaches.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, a complex research spanning all regions and provinces of Kazakhstan is at the heart of the new concept. The research has defined key directions for successful implementation of the said program, including changes in the socioeconomic policy of the country. It also highlights measures of the state support and a spectrum of priority sectors.
