President Nazarbayev receives EurAsEC Secretary General

At the meeting, the sides discussed current activities of the EurAsEC, plans for the future and implementation of the integration processes in the Eurasian space. Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the work of the community is of paramount importance as it ensures multilateral interaction between the countries within the integration structures. The Kazakh President also praised fruitful activity of the integration institutes promoting effective cooperation between the countries in the sphere of technologies and business. Mr. Mansurov briefed President Nazarbayev on the tasks and work of the community aimed at achieving the economic integration in the interests of the EurAsEC member states. He also stressed that it was Nursultan Nazarbayev's incentive to form the Eurasian Union of the countries put forward 20 years ago that laid the foundation of the economic integration in the post-Soviet space.
