President Nazarbayev receives Chairman of Central Election Commission K.Turgankulov

ASTANA. January 18. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Turgankulov.
The President's press service informs.
K.Turgankulov informed the President of the results of the activity of the Initiative Group on holding a referendum on extension of powers of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation.
"At present 5.16 mln signatures were collected. It makes 55.2 percent of the Kazakh voters. The Central Election Commission did not receive any appeals or complaints on violations during the nationwide signature collection campaign", K.Turgankulov said.
