President Nazarbayev praised for prudent state-of-the-nation address

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Principal of a lyceum in Petropavlovsk Yelena Konoplyova lauded President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for paying attention to the problems of education in his new State-of-the-Nation Address.

"It was really exciting to hear that all programs for development of educational and healthcare spheres will be continued. In the new address President Nazarbayev instructed to allot 70 billion tenge to solve the problems of schools in need of capital repair," Ms Konoplyova stressed. She also pointed out that Nursultan Nazarbayev raised the problem of lack of places at kindergartens. "Our region [North Kazakhstan region] needs at least 20 billion tenge to fix that problem. In the address the President stressed that private investors should help. I really hope that local businessmen will give heed to Nursultan Nazarbayev's words," the principal added.
