President Nazarbayev meets BIE Secretary General in Astana

During the meeting the sides discussed the preparations for the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana. President Nazarbayev noted that the entire preparation process is in strict accordance with the schedule. "Your visits are of paramount importance since they give us an opportunity to coordinate our next steps and prepare for this grandiose and important event for Kazakhstan in time," Nursultan Nazarbayev said. Vincente Loscertales, in turn, noted that process of implementation of the exhibition project is quite successful thanks to constant support of the Kazakh President. "Construction is in full swing and ahead of the schedule. Never in 25 years have I seen such pace of construction. I am confident that the upcoming EXPO-2017 event will be a success," Mr. Loscertales said. The BIE Secretary General also added that 140 delegates from all corners of the world are expected to attend the meeting of the EXPO-2017 international participants in Astana tomorrow.
