President Nazarbayev: Kazakhstan's success linked to competence and hard work of government officials
ASTANA. October 17. KAZINFORM Today, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has chaired a session with Corps A civil servants in Astana.
During the session he praised the public administration for becoming more professional, responsible and dynamic.
"Our meeting today is historical, because the creation of the Corps A opens a new page in the development of professional public administration of the country. I've always thought that successful development of Kazakhstan is linked to hard and meticulous work of competent government officials," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The President also noted that Kazakhstan was the first CIS member state to adopt the law on public service.
"Kazakhstan encourages professional growth of its government officials. Public service sector is staffed based on the rigorous selection process. Government officials are promoted purely due to their talent and professional training," the Head of State stressed.
"I pin high hopes on you and your work; you will revive the domestic public service," the Kazakh leader said, addressing those present.
