President Nazarbayev interviewed by China Daily newspaper

In his exclusive interview the Head of State shared his opinion as regards the Kazakhstan-Chinese relations, bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, interaction within the SCO and also touched upon the preparations and participation of the People's Republic of China in EXPO-2017 in Astana.

China Daily is quite popular in China, boasting a circulation of 500 000 copies. The Chinese newspaper is published in English and distributed not only in Beijing and Shanghai, but also in New York, Washington and London.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will officially greet Kazakhstan's leader Nursultan Nazarbayev tomorrow. Afterwards, the heads of states are expected to hold negotiations in the expanded format.

Following the bilateral talks, Kazakhstan and China are believed to sign a number of documents in the commercial and economic, investment and oil spheres.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev plans to meet with President of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Zhou Jiping as a part of his official visit.
