President Nazarbayev congratulates Zhambyl region on 75th anniversary

Auliye-Atinskaya oblast was renamed into Dzhambyl region back in October 1939. This is when Zhambyl region was established. "People of Kazakhstan has always pinned high hopes on your region famous for its historical sights and achievements in socioeconomic development. Your region and the entire country have changed dramatically throughout the years of independence. Over the past years infrastructure of the region has been developed and as a result a lot of large industrial projects have been implemented," the congratulatory message from President Nazarbayev reads. "Currently 41 projects are underway in the region within the framework of the state program of advanced industrial and innovative development. There are enterprises that manufacture products that have never been produced in the region before. I'm sure the region will up the ante after the Western Europe - Western China international transit corridor is launched. I hope that the multinational population of the region will contribute to the implementation of the Kazakhstan-2050 Development Strategy," the message says.
