President Nazarbayev awards winners of Mereili Otbasy competition (PHOTO)

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Bimakhambetovs have become the winners of the National Competition Mereili Otbasy. Results of the competition for the best family were announced at the awarding ceremony at the Kazakhstan Concert Hall with the participation of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev.
President Nazarbayev presented the winners with the keys to their new car - a minivan assembled in Kazakhstan. Head of the family Yeltai Bimaganbetuly, 82, is a proud father of 8 children, he has 33 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
