President Nazarbayev attends Moinakskaya power station construction site

ALMATY REGION. May 26. KAZINFORM Working trip of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Almaty region continues.
The Head of State familiarized with the construction of Moinakskaya hydro-electric power station and made a fly-around of Bestobinsky water collecting area.
Construction of Moinakskaya hydro-electric power station kicked off in March 2006. Its estimated capacity is 300 MW. The cost of the project amounts to KZT 54.1 billion. It is expected to produce 1027 million kWh of electrical energy per year. The project will be put into commission in July-August 2012.
