President Nazarbayev arrived in Aktobe region

Upon his arrival to the region the President visited Aktubrentgen JSC. The enterprise is a manufacturer of mobile fluorography complexes, digital x-ray devices, cable production, gas meters, etc. It produces 28 types of x-ray machines, which are used in 23 CIS and non-CIS states. In June 2010 the first 16-slice computer tomography was assembled here. The President was shown an assembly process.

A new 900 sq.m workshop on high-tech medical devices assembly was launched at the enterprise within the framework of the Accelerated Industrial-Innovative Development Program. Its planned capacity is 28 computer tomography devices per year. The project is implemented in association with General Electric Healthcare Company.

Then the Head of the State attended a presentation of the progress of realization of the industrialization program in Aktobe region. As is known the region carries out 84 investment projects totaling more than KZT 1 trillion. 43 out of them will be put into service this year. Their total cost is KZT 143.9 billion. 7900 new jobs will be created.

The heads of a number of enterprises told the President about the progress of projects implementation.
