President N. Nazarbayev: People's Assembly of Kazakhstan - pledge of unity of our society
ASTANA. October 20. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan has become a pledge of unity and stability of the Kazakhstan society. Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it welcoming the participants of the XVI session of the Assembly in Astana today.
"This year we mark the 15th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan which has become a pledge of stability and consent in our country. Established 15 years ago, the Assembly has demonstrated its solvency to the entire world. The Assembly which was a guarantor of public harmony has become a pledge of unity and friendship in Kazakhstan", N. Nazarbayev noted.
The President added that Kazakhstan where diversity is considered to be a value, which people strive for cooperation, has created a unique model of unity. This was also reflected in the Constitution of the country which begins with the words: "We, the people of Kazakhstan..."
According to the President, Kazakhstan's experience has become a model for the world. The People's Assembly of Kazakhstan makes a great contribution to strengthening peace of the nation.
