President Karimov lauds high level of understanding between Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov praised the level of understanding between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan during his visit to Astana on Tuesday (November 25).
"I honestly believe that we understand each other better now. This factor is of paramount importance for Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan relations," President Karimov said following the Tuesday meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Akorda presidential residence. "Better understanding between our countries is behind vigorous growth of Uzbek-Kazakh sales turnover. As you can see, it has grown by 25% over the past 10 months," the Uzbek leader added.
