President invites Austrian companies to partake in construction of Western China-Western Europe highway
ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan is interested in attraction of large-scale investments through Austrian companies.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at a press conference following results of the negotiations with Federal President of Austria Heinz Fischer.
"I informed President H.Fischer of our program of forced industrial and innovative development, where the Austrian companies could find their interests", the Head of the State added.
"We are also interested in participation of the Austrian companies in development of railway transportation in the corridor China-Kazakhstan-Russia-Europe, in construction of the Western China-Western Europe highway", N.Nazarbayev said.
The Head of Kazakhstan noted that the air route Astana-Vienna-Astana is optimal for passenger flow from Europe to China and Southeast Asia and back. "We agreed that we will develop this direction of our cooperation", N.Nazarbayev resumed.
