President congratulates Aktobe residents on 140th anniversary

"I came to participate in the events dedicated to the 140^th anniversary of Aktobe. From the small settlement Aktyubinsk turned into the half-million city. Today all the countries of the world talk about the financial crisis, but we created 400.000 jobs, 33.000 out of them - in Akobe oblast. New enterprises are opened. We construct roads. The corridor from China to Europe will pass by Aktobe", the Head of the State said.

 The artists showed the guests different compositions, which demonstrated achievements of the economic and social development of the oblast and the whole country, growth of creative and spiritual potential of Kazakhstanis on the basis of historical and cultural values.
