President charged Agriculture Ministry, akims of E Kazakhstan and Semey to develop recommendation on rehabilitation of relic pine forest

sp;SEMEY. November 14. KAZINFORM /Lina Slavina/ President of Kazakhstan charged the Ministry of Agriculture and akims of the East Kazakhstan oblast and Semey to develop recommendations on rehabilitation of the relic pine forest.
"The volumes of production of the relic pine wood of Semey Priirtyshye rose 50 times in the last years and the number of fires were reduced 5 times. As for illegal forest devastation such cases were reduced by 4.5 times. However, this is not enough for restoration of the unique natural complex", the President stated live broadcast yesterday.
The Head of the State also reminded of establishment of Semey Ormany natural reserve in 2003 in order to preserve the wood.
