President called on nation to preserve traditional values of respect and tolerance
ASTANA. May 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev called on the nation to unite in further and preserve traditional values of respect and tolerance.
"The future of the state is defined by its people. Together, drawing strength from diversity and unity, we build our prospering Kazakhstan. I call on all Kazakhstanis to unite in further and move towards new aims together, preserve traditional values of mutual respect and tolerance", N. Nazarbayev said at the opening of the festive events at the square near the capital's Akimat.
"Over the years of independence Kazakhstan could gain a valuable experience of ensuring inter-ethnic, inter-faith peace and harmony. These notions excellently meet the spirit of today's holiday and spirit of our nation", N. Nazarbayev stressed.
