President awarded V. Gergiev with Kazakhstannyn Enbek Eri title

ASTANA. May 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev has awarded conductor and artistic director of the Mariinsky Theater Valery Gergiev with Kazakstannyn Enbek Eri (Honored Worker of Kazakhstan) title prior to the concert of the Theater's Symphony Orchestra in Astana today.
"Taking into consideration his contribution to training Kazakhstani specialists and his love for our country, I have signed a special decree on awarding him with this title", N. Nazarbayev said.
