Presidency in OSCE was useful for Kazakhstan - Deputy of Lithuanian Parliament J. Karosas
ASTANA. March 31. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairmanship in the OSCE was useful for Kazakhstan. Nursultan Nazarbayev's decision to hold the early presidential elections proves it. Deputy of the Parliament of Lithuania Justinas Karosas said it at a meeting with his Kazakh colleagues Amzebek Zholshibekov, Romin Madimov and Bladimir Nekhoroshev in Astana today.
During the meeting the parliamentarians spoke on the situation in Kazakhstan, the election campaign, the people's mood, the problems they face and their resolution. Stability in multinational and multi-religious Kazakhstan was noted as the main feature of our society.
Cooperation between both countries' parliaments was also on the agenda of the meetings.
"We have common roots and this is an advantage we must preserve and develop", J. Karosas said.
Kazakhstani deputies are expected to visit Lithuania and Latvia this summer.
