Preservation of interethnic concord is of paramount importance for any country -President

"Preservation of interethnic harmony is of paramount importance for any country. All our achievements could be reached namely due to peace and concord", the Head of the State said addressing the guests of the festive concert on the occasion of the Day on Unity of Kazakhstani People in Astana today.

The President noted that the world is full of examples of catastrophic consequences of inter-ethnic and inter-faith conflicts.

"Peace and harmony is the result of our hard work over the years of independence. This is our common endowment and we must preserve it", N. Nazarbayev stressed.
