Presentation of draft ideas for EXPO-2017 will be held over 3 days in Astana
ASTANA. August 9. KAZINFORM From 14 to 16 of August presentation of draft ideas for EXPO-2017 will be organized in the exposition center "Korme". This was reported to astana.kz in the press service of the NC "Astana EXPO-2017".
The exposition complex will be opened for all people who want to get acquainted with works by participants of the International architectural contest for the best sketch idea and an object which is to become a symbol of EXPO-2017 in Astana. Let us recall, that the works for the project were provided by 50 architects and companies from 20 countries of the world: Austria, Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, the U.S., the Netherlands, South Korea, Russia, Portugal, Norway, Turkey, Tunisia, Japan, France, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Over two weeks the works were estimated by the technical council headed by a famous economist Jeremy Rifkin, the President of the fund for economic trends study. The council also consists of world-renowned architects and specialists in the field of sustainable development and energy efficiency. It's planned that on September 1 results of the contest will be summarized and everyone will know which one of the sketch ideas is to become the base of the exposition complex EXPO-2017.
