Presentation of Arna Media Holding held in Almaty
ANA. October 22. KAZINFORM. /Kalamkas Abuova/ A group of companies of the National Information Holding "Arna Media" was presented to the major advertisers of Almaty yesterday.
The holding includes "Kazakh Telecommunications" JSC (KATELCO), "Kazteleradio" JSC, "Khabar" Agency" JSC, "Kazakhstan" National Teleradiocorporation" JSC, "Yegemen Kazakhstan" National Newspaper" JSC, "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" National Newspaper" JSC, "Kazakh information agency" National Company" JSC, "Zhas Orken" LLC and "Kazak Gazettery" LLC.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazinform National Company Dauren Diyarov presented the new design of the site, which represents a multifunctional portal with the unique in Kazakhstan technologies of news management enabling to distribute the information inside and outside of the country. They are the infographics, photo-report and photo website. The rubric "Regions" offers another new service - a map of the regions. It is a kind of website for every region of Kazakhstan. One more new product of Kazinform is a national press review. It covers the most important news prepared by the national media.
Kazinform has also launched a new website in the Kazakh language using the Arabian alphabet. This service is offered to the Kazakhs residing in China.
"Arna Media" National Information Holding was established by the decree of the Kazakh Government as of July 3, 2008. Its main purpose is the effective management of state media assets aimed at enhancing competitiveness of the information space of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Chairman of the Board of the Holding is Yerlan Baizhanov.
