Premier laid flowers to Ablai Khan monument in Petropavlovsk

PETROPAVLOVSK. July 8. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has visited museum complex "Residence of Ablai Khan" and took part in flowers laying ceremony in Petropavlovsk within his working trip to North Kazakhstan.

The Head of the Government got acquainted with the exposition of the museum and left a note in the distinguished visitors' book.

"The House of Ablai Khan" historic monument built in 1829 was taken under protection by the Decree of the Ministers Council of the Kazakh SSR as of January 26, 1982.

The museum complex has four expositional halls: the life of Ablai; the chamber of Ablai, the throne room; Ablai Khan - outstanding public figure.
