Preliminary election results to be announced Jan 16

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Preliminary results of Kazakhstan's parliamentary elections will be announced on January 16, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan Vladimir Foos told a briefing for foreign media on Saturday.
According to him, though the official announcement is set for January 25, CEC will try to speed up the release of preliminary election results, since the Majilis is now being left without deputies.
