Preferential taxation to be provided in special economic zones

"Preferential taxation will be provided for enterprises functioning in the territories of special economic zones," B.Sagintayev said at the Government session .

Besides, the presented bill exempts from taxation some categories of citizens.

The bill provides for exemption from taxation of the incomes of foster parents, custodian of a child with disabilities; special and personalized state scholarships founded by the President and the Government.

Besides, the incomes from sale of steel bar and nonferrous and iron-and-steel wastes will be exempted from paying VAT in order to create favorable conditions for domestic manufacturers.

As earlier reported, the draft Law "On amendments to some legislative acts on taxation" was adopted at the Government session.
