Possible cooperation between bio technology organizations of Kazakhstan and Malaysia discussed

During the meeting parties have discussed perspectives for scientific and technical cooperation between the two countries in the field of biotechnology, including through the organization of seminars, exchange of experience, conducting joint research and implementation of commercial projects. Particular attention was paid to the possibility of establishing a long-term partnership between BiotechCorp and its Kazakhstan counterpart National Center for Biotechnology (NCB). Following the meeting, the parties have reached agreement on the organization of the working visit of BiotechCorp delegation to Kazakhstan in order to study the perspectives of bilateral cooperation in the field of biotechnology. The Kazakh diplomat briefed on the ongoing work in Kazakhstan to create knowledge-based economy, support for research and innovation, the development of intellectual-innovation cluster, as well as key areas of development outlined in the President's annual address "Nurly Zhol - Path to the Future".
