Population of Kazakhstan to reach 18 mln by 2020

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ The population of Kazakhstan will approach 18 mln people by 2020. President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev has said today at the session of the Parliament delivering his annual Address to the Nation.
"We should approach the following indexes: the population of the country will reach 6 mln people, proportion of professional people will make 40%, unemployment rate will decrease to 5%, agricultural output will increase twofold by 2014", the President said.
