Pope Francis slightly improved, prognosis remains reserved
The clinical conditions of Pope Francis in the last few days they have remained stable and, consequently, demonstrate a good response to therapy, Agenzia Nova reports.
A gradual, slight improvement is therefore recorded. The Holy Father – reports the Vatican press office – has always remained afebrile. Gas exchanges have improved; blood tests and blood counts are confirmed to be stable.
In order to continue recording these initial improvements in the coming days, the doctors are prudently keeping the prognosis reserved.
This morning the Holy Father, after receiving the Eucharist, gathered in prayer inside the Chapel of his private apartment, while in the afternoon he alternated rest with work activities.
Earlier, it was reported that Pope Francis has slightly improved as his kidney failure resolved and pneumonia evolving normally.
