Polytrauma and orthopedic surgery department opened in the city hospital No 1
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Polytrauma and orthopedic surgery department has been opened in the city hospital No 1, which was previously a part of the Republican research center of emergency care, astana.kz informs.
The department has 20 beds and provides services in an expedited manner and routinely within the framework of the guaranteed volume of free medical care and for a fee.
"Department's personnel are represented by experienced doctors: professors, Doctors of Medical Science and Candidates of Medicine, physicians and nurses of the highest category. 70% of workers have completed training in clinics in America (St. Louis, USA), Europe (Germany, Poland), and Russia", they note in the center.
All this allows providing highly specialized medical care with the use of modern technologies for patients' rehabilitation. Highly technological operations are conducted here allowing activating patient's physical activity on the 2nd day after the operation.
