Polling station opens at Egyptian Embassy in Kazakhstan ahead of presidential elections
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A polling station has opened at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Republic of Kazakhstan today.
Egypt's presidential elections for citizens outside of the country will kick off today in 121 countries. Citizens of Egypt may cast in their votes at the Egyptian Embassy in Kazakhstan in the diplomatic town of Astana city between 9:30 am - 16:00 pm. The elections will run through May 18. The Egyptian Supreme Electoral Commission has made a decision not to open voting stations in Syria, Somalia, Lebanon and the Central African Republic for safety reasons. Unlike the countries mentioned above, Germany, China, Turkey, the U.S., and Switzerland will have several polling stations each. Polling stations in Egypt will be unveiled on May 26-27.
