Polish Consul General presented books of Polish writers to Ust-Kamenogorsk library

UST-KAMENOGORSK. November 13. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ Consul General of the Polish Embassy to Kazakhstan Veslav Ossukhovksy presented modern imaginative, scientific and branch literature of leading Polish publications to East-Kazakhstan library.

The literature from Poland was presented to the library on the occasion of 210th anniversary of A.S. Pushkin as the library has the same name.

The Head of the Polish consulate to Kazakhstan noted that A.S. Pushkin's biography and creativity has the parallel to the biography and creativity of great Polish poet Adam Mitskevich. "They were herd-mates and acquainted with each other, they translated their works and influenced each other. The example of these geniuses proves that truth talent cannot exist only under national frames, it comes up to the world arena and becomes a province of all mankind", - the Consul General noted.

"The friendly present of the Consul proved again that in understanding of educated people precisely books pull together people spiritually and culturally. Due to books we know and discover another country, familiarize with its customs and traditions. A book has become a conductor in trustful relations between the Polish Diplomatic Corps and our library", - Director of A.S. Pushkin Regional Library Khibiba Akzhigitova said.
