Policeman hijacks tourist bus in Manila

MANILA. August 23. KAZINFORM A dismissed Filipino policeman hijacked a tourist bus Monday morning in Manila, local media reported, Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said most passengers onboard are South Korean tourists. The tourist bus has plate number TUU 799.
The hostage taker is identified as PSI Rolando Mendoza, according to a report issued by the ABS-CBN news channel. Mendoza got depressed because of his dismissal.
Negotiations are ongoing between PNP and Mendoza, Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
