More than 600 people, including presidential candidates, were detained in the Belarusian capital during a police clampdown on demonstrators after the December 19 presidential elections. International monitors called the polls "flawed."

"Along with Alexander Lukashenko, the list contains the names of the Belarusian judges, prosecutors, and state service heads responsible for persecution of opposition activists," PAP said.

Belarus Foreign Ministry has yet to receive the entry ban notification from Poland, a spokesman for the ex-Soviet republic's Foreign Ministry, Andrey Savinykh, said, adding Minsk would not react until official confirmation from Warsaw. Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru for full version
