PM surveyed construction of Amangeldy crude oil processing plant in Zhambyl region

KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Today within the two-day visit to Zhambyl oblast Prime Minister Karim Massimov has got acquainted with the course of construction of Amangeldy LLP crude oil processing plant. The work is carried out under the state program of forced industrial-innovative development
The purpose of the project amounting to KZT 3 bln is to provide the region with oil and lubricants. The design capacity of the projects is expected to make 200, 000 tons per year,
The plant was designed to produce gasoline, diesel and fuel oil from raw materials and gas condensate supplied from Amangeldy-gas deposit or Karashagan oil field in Kyzylorda region. The plant is expected to process 500 tons of petroleum per day and produce 100 tons of fuel and fuel oil, 60 tons of kerosene, 120 tons of diesel fuel and 270 tons of fuel oil.
The readiness of the plant makes 80% to date. Completion of construction is scheduled for December 2010. Over 100 people are planned to be provided with jobs due to construction.
Kazinform's note: Amangeldy Gas processing plant LLP implements a project "Construction of crude oil processing plant" in Zhambyl oblast. The cost of the project is KZT 1 bln 626 mln (or USD 10 mln 800 thousand). 100 jobs are planned to be created within its realization.
