PM supported creation of committee on transfer of non-profile functions of state enterprises to competitive environment
ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov supports the creation of the committee on transfer of non-profile functions of state enterprises to competitive environment.
"Now the situation is becoming steady. We gradually return to normal work schedule. We must give an opportunity to private entrepreneurship, small and medium business to take part in competition", the Head of the Government has said today at the enlarged session of the collegium of Competition Protection Agency.
"It is proposed to optimize state services and functions as well as the services rendered by state companies in order to provide well-balanced state participation in entrepreneurship. According to the instruction of the Head of the State non-profile functions must be transferred to competitive environment", head of Competition Protection Agency Mazhit Yessenbayev said.
The Agency suggest holding the given work within the creation of a special committee among representatives of the ministries of finance and economy and budget planning.
"I believe the transfer of separate functions to competitive environment will lead to significant budget surplus", M. Yessenbayev noted.
